Introduction to GeoServer
Introduction to the use of GeoServer made by one of the core developers of GeoServer.
The workshop will provide a hands on introduction to the GeoServer usage and configuration.
In particular the workshop will cover the following topics:
-GeoServer installation
-brief theoretical introduction to GeoServer configuration and data models
-vector data configuration
-raster data configuration
-basic usage of WMS
-styling data with SLD (both as manual SLD writing, and style creation with uDig)
-KML file generation and Google Earth integration, with time series and extrusion handling.
